IONFLUX WEBINAR: ADVANCED FLUIDICS CONTROL NECESSARY FOR UNIQUE HIGH THROUGHPUT VOLTAGE AND LIGAND GATED ASSAYS
Presented November 17 2015
Join Dr. Ali Yehia from Fluxion Biosciences for a webinar looking at the advanced fluidics of the IonFlux system and how the great control over in-plate liquid exchange facilitates assays for multiple-ligand binding, closed and open channel allosteric modulation or block, and dose response voltage-gated assays.
Example data from customer screens will be presented to illustrate real-world results.
IONFLUX WEBINAR: ASSAY DATA FOR LIGAND- AND VOLTAGE_GATED ION CHANNELS
Dr. Juha Kammonen from Neusentis/Pfizer, Cambridge UK, presents a webinar about the abilities of the IonFlux system to deal with complex fluidics assays. The webinar presents unique techniques allowing the screening of PAM against GABA receptors including the investigation of open channel PAM effects. Dr. Kammonen also shows the benefits of the flexible fluidics in drug screening against Nav1.8 channels presenting assays that would otherwise be quite complex in alternate systems. The webinar was presented in 2014 as part of the Molecular Devices Ion Channels Webinar series.
IONFLUX WEBINAR: THE IONFLUX HT - A NEW HIGH-THROUGHPUT PLATFORM TO ASSESS GABA(A) RECEPTOR FUNCTION
Mike Donio from Eurofins Discovery Services, St Charles MO, presents how the IonFlux HT was validated as an instrument to screen drugs agains the GABA(A) receptor. He presents assay develoment and drug applications data as well as statistics showing the capabilities of the IonFlux HT in their CRO business. The webinar was presented in 2014 as part of the Molecular Devices Ion Channels Webinar series.
IONFLUX WEBINAR: LIQUID PERFUSION WITHOUT THE OVERHEAD - FAST, SERIAL LIQUID DISPLACEMENT FOR PAM ASSAY DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Ali Yehia from Fluxion Biosciences, South San Francisco CA, discusses the unique capabilities of the IonFlux system in facilitating assay developmet for PAM screening. The webinar focuses on the fast fluidics replacement and the successive liquid displacement faciliated by the continuous flow of extracellular media, a distinctive characteristic of the IonFlux system among all Automated Patch Clamp systems. The webinar was presented in 2014 as part of the Molecular Devices Ion Channels Webinar series.
