Live Streaming Demos and Applications

Join us for our Live BioFlux demos from our our labs in South San Francisco, California.
These events will focus on the operation of the BioFlux systems and will include live experiments and system’s operations. The demos will include Audio and Video streaming as well as screen sharing of the system’s computer.
Attending our live demos will give you an opportunity to experience the ease of use of our systems as well as observe first hand the extensive capabilities of the BioFlux family.

Check this page regularly for upcoming live demos, when one is scheduled, information and registration will appear below.

UPCOMING LIVE DEMO

RECORDED LIVE DEMOS

6 WELL PLATES FOR LONG TERM CULTURE

Recorded: November 24 2015

Join Dr. Bryan Haines from Fluxion Biosciences for live streaming BioFlux application demo. This live demo will introduce the new six well plates and explain applications for their use in long term biofilm and cell culture experiments under flow. The Live demo will include audio, video and screen sharing from our BioFlux lab is South San Francisco.

CELL ADHESION UNDER FLOW USING BIOFLUX SYSTEMS

Recorded: January 14 2015

Join Dr. Bryan Haines from Fluxion Biosciences for live streaming of a BioFlux application demo. The hands on demonstration of the experimental protocol, includes: developing a cell monolayer; initiating cell rolling and adhesion; setting up for transmigration; analyzing data using cell rolling software.

PERFORMING A BIOFILM EXPERIMENT ON A BIOFLUX SYSTEM

Recorded: October 29 2014

Join Dr. Bryan Haines from Fluxion Biosciences for our second live streaming BioFlux application demo. The demo demonstrates how to grow an oral biofilm and then evaluate antimicrobial compounds on the effectiveness to kill the biofilm. The live includes audio, video and screen sharing from our BioFlux lab in South San Francisco.

BLOOD COAGULATION ON DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS OF COLLAGEN: LIVE APPLICATION DEMO

Recorded : June 19 2014

Join Dr. Bryan Haines from Fluxion Biosciences for our inaugural live streaming BioFlux application demo. The demo demonstrates the use of the BioFlux system while evaluating the coagulation of blood on different concentration of collagen. The experiment was recorded live and presented via web streaming. Viewers saw how: BioFlux plates are coated; experiments acquisition is setup; data is recorded; thrombus formation is analyzed
